DMC provided Industrial Rockwell
Allen-Bradley controls for three
makeup air units that service the
cheese processing facility. To
accomplish this project, we had to
work with the consulting engineers,
mechanical contractor, and the facility maintenance
staff. The scope included automatically controlling the unit using a CompatLogix PLC, PanelView 600 HMI, and input/output modules. This system is tied into the building facility allowing onsite staff to make changes as required for different food processes. Adjustments that the staff can modify include temperature control, airflow control, alarm resets, etc.
