DMC provided industrial Rockwell
Allen-Bradley controls for six
makeup air units that service
the cheese processing facility.
In order to accomplish this project,
we had to work with the consulting
engineers, equipment manufactures, mechanical contractors, and the facility maintenance staff. The scope included automatically controlling the unit using a CompactLogix PLC, PanelView 600 HMI, and input/output modules. This system is tied into the buildings facility allowing onsite staff to make changes as required for different food processes. Adjustments the staff can modify include temperature control, airflow control, alarm resets, etc.
